commander 1000

Default commander 1000

I need some help,, i have a commander 1000 and i hit a puddle going 50mph, well the puddle was a mini muddy lake, i got a lot of mud in the air filter box, the machine turned off completely then i cleaned it all out filter and all, then drove the machine back to my truck where it just turned off completely again!!! It will not fire up but it does crank over but just wont start!!
Any suggestions,,, please help!!!

Have you checked the spark plug and coil wires?

check for lose grounds near the battery-

Well,, thank you both, i got it running! the motor felt like it wanted to walk out of the frame, i bent 2 valves and a rod! I am taking it to local dealer and if they have to rip of the whole top end of the motor i might as well just put the big bore kit in it!

Why would you put oversized pistons in a 1000cc Rotax?
That motor is already detuned to so it's controllable. Replacing a couple of valves and a pushrod is easy- why bore out 2 cylinders and buy a whole new top end for a couple of damaged valves???
Then you'll have to remap the efi.
Unless you're racing that thing, why on earth would you mess with a 1000cc rotax?
Just saying....
