OK fixed the woods stage 1 kit carb problem with the hesitation. NOW can we ds riders get a solution to the hard twisting throttle the kit comes with, the carb spring is too strong for reasons beyond me, lets after-mod it to work, help me you guys. springs and different positions?

This problem seems to be coming from Mikuni instead of coming from Ron Woods. I currently carry Mikuni TM series carbs[as apposed to HRS series from Woods] to sell for Team Pami and have the same issue with the twist throttle version.I was going to try removing the pin that holds the left side cam onto the throttle shaft so I could unwind the spring one or two turns. This should lessen the tension on the throttle. Then press then pin back in place to re-install the cam.

By the way jimmie, the carb worked much better for me without the acc. pump.

From outside looks, the TM seems to be the same as the HRS. Team Pami uses the TM and I have it in stock with the twist throttle. Mikuni may be able to give you more details about the difference between the two. If you would like to order one, please e-mail me and I'll get it off to you. Thanks
