Good news coming soon per http://www.edelbrock.com/motorcycle/index.html . Just a word of caution this carburetor will not work with Big gun, Graydon Proline and CT racing pipes. It will work with Alba pipe and slip on not sure about Ron Wood pipe. It pulls hard in all gears starts easy and idles smooth. On hard take offs in 1st or 2nd gear I have too lean way over the handle bars to keep the front end down.

Were does the interferance with the Big Gun exhaust come from? I went and looked at mine to see what sort of room I had, and see lots of clearance on a Mikuni[over 2 inches]. Is this Quicksilver THAT huge? I wouldn't mind experimenting with it on the 760, but it's not worth it if I have to change exhausts to use it. What size is it anyway? Just curious, the web site just says "coming soon"

Knutz the problem is the accelerator pump it is on the right side for the DS650 and is sticks out 1.5 inches. It just hits where the collector pipe starts too turn down. It hit about the same area on the Graydon Proline all so. It is 40 mm but that might be too small for the 760cc you have. They due make a 42 mm for 101 inch Harleys.

Thanks for the info. You are right, that carb would be too small for the 760 motor, but it didn't hurt me to check. I'm glad it's working good for you though. It's a shame that it doesn't work with all exhausts, that limits how many of us can use it.

I wish i would have known that before I bought my graydon pipe. I may consider buying a alba kit just so i could use that carb.

Talk to Edelbrock yesterday and they were able to install a left side accelerator pump so there should be no trouble with any pipe clearance. Now they are working on the thumb throttle cable. Due out in AUG
