I am pretty seriously considering some front sand tires. Scooby, I noticed that you are running the Razor Back 22x8x10 on your quad, which direction are you running the center tread 'in' or 'out' and can you tell the difference? I seen on the STU website that they recommend they be mounted on a 7" wide wheel, are you running them on the 6" wide? I haven't seen any wider than that to fit the DS. Has anyone tried the Dune Trackers, they look real similar to the Razors? How about the Mohawks or Shark Fin with the notched center tread?

I run the Razor Backs with flat side out. So that when I turn that flat side just pushes against the sand helps it turn faster. I had to special ordered the rims for them.

CALDS650, Douglas or ITP wheels? How much were they? Special made usually means they try to put you away with the price.

What ITP rims are they and why are you selling them? What size are the Mohawks 21x7x10? I haven't decided if I want the Mohawks or the style of the Razor or Tracker. I was leaning towards a 22x8x10 tire size as well.

They are Douglas red I bought they at:
Daryl Smith Sand Tires
8161 Broadway Ave., Lemon Grove
(619) 463-5516
It is a Small shop no web page or 800#. You have due it the old fashion way and call on a phone. That dose adds up to very low prices.

I have 22x8x10 DuneTrackers on my DS, but I had to take off the front fenders because the tire was too wide to ride with them on. It rubbed the fender braces...looks pretty wicked though!
