My DS rides better than Your DS....
#1
Are you tired of being beaten up by your 4-wheeler? Does your DS clean your clock every time you ride? I couldn't keep up with my old, or current Sportsman on the rough mountain trails we ride. I got so tired hanging on to that railroad car spring front end as it bounced and jarred me out of my skull. I just couldn't spend $700+ on a freakin'pair of shocks.
Then I saw the Works Steelers for $339, triple rate, no reservoir, no adjustments. But 30 day free adjustment. I ordered them "Plush" recreational trail riding, no jumping (well maybe just a little) The point is I Wanted PLUSH!!
I just got them, put them on in 20 minutes and test drove through my fields, even across the
furrows. I saw the front end move for the very first time!! I saw the TimmyBoys move!! The wheels go up and down!! It's amazing!! It's like real suspension!! I even nose dived it off a little jump, it went "sploosh". It didn't hurt a bit!! Maybe now I can keep up with the Sportsmans.

I think my DS came setup much more like 3TV's - I tightened the front shocks just a little (2 turns on one side 3 on the other 0 they were not even from the dealer) and the difference is night and day. While the value of aftermarket shocks is there, I feel like my stockers are doing a good enough job for me which will make replacing them much farther down the list of modifications. (I'm also used to riding a Suzuki LT250R - the DS650 rides like a DREAM in comparison!)
