I put a new carb on it and it won’t idle. It dat outside for a year and a half. It’ll idle peffect on choke but as soon as I cut the chive off it cuts off. I mean I can ride it but no one else can. As soon as u let off gas it dies out. But if I get down in it. It about pulls me off. Anyone please give me a starting point

 

Pilot jet sounds too lean which could be too small a jet or it is plugged. What brand of carb? Is it a cheap chinese knock off from amazon or ebay?

A friend bought one for his yamaha and the jetting was all wrong as well as not marked so you had no idea what you were starting with. i was able to use oem mikuni jets and get it but it was a ton of work.
