Yesterday I raced in a district 23 harescramble. Everything was awesome off the start, the ds grabbed the holeshot over the other 30 riders but when i got in the woods i found the trail was to tight in a section for the ds...anyway, i hit a tree and pushed the nerf bar back into the peg. Bent the graydon nerf bar a bit (fixable), but the peg i dont think will be fixable. Anyone know where i can get some FOOT PEGS for the ds650? thank you

I forgot to ask..you people wiht the GRAYDON nerf bars..is it possible to bend them back if they are bent about 1 inch back? Is the aluminum bendable?

 

I bent a set of DG alloys once and bent them back. I'm sure they will be a little weak at the point of the bend. Where was the race and where did you finish?

 

300exster,sounds like a rough shot to the DS.How fast were you going?Any other damage?
Thats sounds as if it will be cheaper to fix than my weekend damge.I was in second or third gear cruising up,loose rocky,rutted-up trail & nailed a log or something.Hit it so hard drove handlebars into leg(huge bruise),bent rt.tie rod,wheel,rt.fender brkt.
Guess I'll be ordering some new parts this week,hope it's not too expensive.
Anyway both accidents could of been worse.

 

looks like the nerf and peg were the only things hurt, sorry to hear you tie rods and that were bent up, that sucks hard. I dont even know what place I got in that race yet..

 

Should have stayed in the middle of the trail and nobody would have been able to get around you!!!! Just kidding, sorry to hear about your mishap
