Synthetic Oil?
#2
Book says no, SAE, etc, etc...... I put in Mobil 1 10w40 and my clutch never acted right since. Over the weekend I put in Golden Spectro 20w50 Full Synthetic made for motocycles with wet clutches and clutch pull and grab sinces back to normal. I say if it's rated for a street cycle with a wet clutch then it'll work in the Ds.

So what do you think about that $1.29 a quart to around $7 a qt.? My oil & filter change went from $14 bucks to $36. But here's my question to you since you/ve been running it for a while. Do you need to change it as often since it's full Synthetic oil? Or would every 3 mon. be good?

I was going to ask the same thing. I would think it depends on how much and what kind of riding you do. I changed mine during the winter. I will be doing some muddy riding the next couple weeks so I'm planning on changing the oil after that. How much is the Synthetic oil Bomb. offers now? I need to order oil, oil filter, and brakes. That will be a few $$$$$$

Not sure about the Bom oil but the Golden was $7 a qt. As far as your brakes go, Bom brakes from dealer here is around $100 per side. So brakes all around will be $300 for both fronts and the back. DP makes Bom brakes for $35 a side. So that would be $105 for all. Dennis Kirk sells these along with another company, I think the name was related to Moose - but not %100. Hope this will make your pockets alittle heavier. Later.
