Hi all,

I don't have a DS, but am really jealous of the front fenders...I have a shee, and prefer the look of it without the huge fenders...but on the other side, I very frequently (not to say every ride) in water, mud, gravel...etc. So I thought about the DS fenders...nw my question...where and how are the brackets atached? if anyone has a pic of it, that'd be great.

I' love to have the no fender look, but aboslutely want to keep the fender protection (and the DS fenders srely work better than the shee's)!

Thanks!

Zorro,
If you had a way to make/machine the brackets to fit a 'Shee, you could cut off your Banshee fenders, trim them down some & mount them down there.
That would be a crazy looking Banshee!

There are a couple of factory photos here, including 2 closeups of the fenders: https://atvconnection.com/editor/rev...components.htm

Andrew,

you know what (putting the big fenders close to the wheel)? nah! Although it would look fun! and unique!

I really want it to look as there were no fenders...except that there are!

Anyways, thanks for the info (in replies and by email too)...I have all my answers faster than I thought...gotta start working on it!

Funny you should mention that, I was thinking about trying that with my Raptor. I wonder if it would look cool or just ***? I know it would be unique

My first thought at seeing a DS was it looked like the old 200 & 7000 series Allis Chalmers 2WD tractors with their little front fenders

Maybe I'll but rear fender skirts on my DS so it looks like a pimps Cadillac !!!

I might give it a try, really trimming them down to a minimum...but first, I have to make sure the bracket is tough and will hold it into place without moving too much.

At a time, I wanted to do a similar stuff on the rear wheels too. Having a total duning "no fender" plastics, with the little fenders on 4 wheels...that would look surely different...

I'll keep you guys in touch on how it goes.
