What no good stories, races? I'm sure not everybody had to work like myself. Anybody go anywhere cool? break anything? race anybody? I think I went home every night and opened the garage to look at my DS and imagined that alot of you were riding and I was not! I hope someone had some fun for me.....BOMBOWNER

Same here with the crappy weather weekend. I probably could have gone out but fighting everyone to get out of Southern California just wasn't worth it to me. There are really one about four ways to get out of the area and everything bottlenecks on the big weekends. I just used the time to go trailer shopping. Jimmie took me to this really cool track, I came off a jump wrong, rolled down the hill into the weeds, broke my back fender, got some new scratches on me and the ds.--all in all it was a great day because I got to ride .

Just be glad you didn't go south to Ocotillo Wells or Glamis like we did. It was 115 out there. The only good ride we got was at 6am before sunrise. Considering our neighbors kept us up till 3am with horribly loud music, it kinda bit. I whish we would went to Pismo, it would have been worth the drive. (we were thinking about going there when we got to OW and noticed the heat.) 100 degrees at 9:00pm..

Hey BlackHawk, that was another reason I didn't head out to OW or Glamis....just too friggin hot. I'll bet the dust out there right now is pretty thick as well. Sorry to hear it sucked out there. Pismo has been really nice lately so if you get the chance head up there.

Weird thing, even with the wind at night, there was no dust. We didn't ride much, but what we did dust wasn't even an issue. If all the gloom that was over LA for the weekend would have been a little further south, it would have made for a perfect weekend.

Actually, we're planning a Pismo trip for something like 3-4 weeks from now. I'm looking forward to it as I've never ran paddles or on dunes aside from BlowSand hill etc. at Ocotillo Wells.
