It depends on the local accent.

Up here in Maine it's usually pronounced "Bom-bah-deeah" (Bom-bar-deer, only the "ar"s are stretched out to become "ah"s due to the accent).
However, in proper French, I believe DBeck is correct. "Bom-bar-dee-AY".

All three of you are right. Theirs the American, Canadian & French Canadian prononced. Call the main office in Canada and they prononce it the French Canadian way.

Hey everybody, time for a bubble burst. It's pronounced "Ski Doo" I swear to god that's what it's been called on the trail many times. Even when I was giving the information to my insurance man, I said "Bombardier" Traxter and when I got my bill, Make and Model said "Ski Doo" Traxter. Another time I was telling someone I bought a Traxter made by Bombardier and they corrected me with Ski-Doo. Even my wife asked me why in the video do they pronouce it so fancy? Hub-Boy ? "Gee honey, it's a foreign film." Some dem old words die hard.

Anyway, Ride Safe

Ski-Doo is a very popular and well-known word...especially here in Quebec. When I went shopping for a snowmobile this past year I just called em' all Ski-Doo's, you know, like "Lets go Ski-Dooing". Lets just say the salesmen at Yamaha and Polaris said abruptly: "No sir...we do not sell Ski-Doo's here!" Just thought I would throw that in.
