Is there anything available that will improve the cooling efficiency of the DS650 motor? Better radiator, better water pump, oil cooler, lower temp thermostat?

In 90+ degree weather, the DS instantly heats up to 180 with the fan running continuously, and is at the point of overheating (200+) after several drag races.

Someone needs to come up with a larger fan, that thing is tiny. That would help a bunch I think. There is plenty of 12V power available to run one as well.

I noticed the same thing,I am considering adding the following parts,"supercooler","engine ice"and radiator shrouds...(which are made better?ALBA or Pingrys?
Gonna try this soon, starting to get hot here trying not to overheat it during our hottest months.
These parts are not real expensive and installed easily,w/o major mods to machine.Gonna try this first.........Any thoughts??? Please respond others ideas welcome here too!

I was thinking of Redline Water Wetter. I tried it in my 5.0 but really did not notice a difference. I wonder if it would work better in a smaller cooling system??? Yes the DS seems to warm up quick.

DS650DAVE I have the Alba carbon fiber one on my DS. They were easy to install and look great just a little expensive. CALDS650

I think remember High Lifter making a product called super cool, or something like that. They made an oil additive to reduce oil temp and a coolant additive to reduce coolant temp. Has anyone used these or similar products in a quad? It gets pretty hot in south Louisiana. Last year we had heat indicies of 115 many times. I would consider using some of these products if I got some feedback on them. later

Anyone ever check out Summit Racing or Jegs or any race car oriented sites/mail order mags for stuff like this ?
I just want to be sure it would be "safe" to put in the DS.

I may well be wrong but I believe I read on an old thread that Pingrys made a larger oil resevoir, which would certainly help.

Pingrys no longer offers a larger oil tank, they had problems with it and discontinued it.

You didn't have your web site link in this post but if memory serves me you have the intercooler mounted out in front so thats reducing air flow, still have the stock front bumper with the plastic piece?, more air blockage. Don't you mostly ride sand? so theres not to much hazzard to the radiator?, just my two cents but I would get rid of the plastic piece (I did and chromed the bumper too), I would remove the radiator guard, it has more blocked aera that open aera, I would get radiator shrouds (the carbon fiber is the only thing cool enough for that quad) and use some type of cooling system enhancer (I think wetter water is ok for aluminum motors, check bombardierds650.com's main page, they were going to review it) I think getting rid of the radiator guard and putting on shrouds will help a lot, I'm sure the intercooler lets some air through but its got to be pushing some away too
