This brings up a good topic. Test Riders, I will eventually need testers for my exhaust. I'd like to find testers all over the country. That way i know how the exhaust works in different climates and altitudes. As for right now i'm only making the exhaust for my bombardier. If this works out for me I'll try to make one for a 400ex.

sounds good. if you do make one for 400EX (which i would think there would be more demand for than ds650's) just remember that i asked to be a tester first ok?

i wonder what it would take to modify that super bike setup to make it fit the ds? a good muffler guy could probably bend it to fit perfect. anyone know how much those pipes are?

Jeff,
Sweet setup. What do you think you added for weight?

Wutang,
Forget the 400ex (sorry juggalo). Raptors got the dual carbs ready to go. That should be your next setup. Yammy boyz got the Benjamins. Just check out that side of the forum. If it bolts on. We want it. Besides the 400ex will be discontinued by the time you get to it. Plus i'm sure you'll only want those pipes on quads that can keep up. your lining yourself up for a neck injury, trying to look back and see what your pipes look like on that 400ex.

Jeff, very nice and clean install, I wonder why Ron Woods told me the flat reinforcing steel plate behind the carbs needed to be cut to clear the carb

Scooby,The Uni filters(off the carbs) seem to fit well, the seat just barely pushes them down at the back,I cant run filters past the rear upper shock mount because of my battery has been relocated to where the air box was.Not sure how your set up works but if it puts the filter or filters past the rear shock mount it probably wont work for me

Raptor660RNH,I added about 35 lbs since I got married in 1996......................OH on the DS about 3 to 4lbs
