I've got STU's Paddla Brats which are the straight paddle version of sand skates. They hold up very well. I've had them over a year now, and do a lot of riding at Dumont Dunes which has a lot of hard pack at the bottom of Comp. hill, so tires get eaten up easily. I had a set of haulers that lasted about an hour out there. Also i've got a friend who has the sand skates on his DS and loves em.
