ok ok well I got my ds a-arms off and totaly inspected them ,I noticed the the left lower arm was welded slightly higher than the right...I found that the left alignment was only off 3/8" so I fixed that problem. im not sure that would make much differance or not. but the right lower arm was off 7/8" (sorry not the first 1 1/2) and that is the shock that has broke twice on me now.I no your saying that 7/8" is no big deal ,but I think im on to something here. so I cut off the mounts (plasma cutter) rewelded them ,and painted them ,ill send them in to be powdercoated this winter.I got my new shocks friday ,and ill be installing them today. I no ive been a pain latly but hey, when i crashed this thing ,it hurt ,it hurt bad ,and im not into getting hurt. plus it cost me ...bar's $55 foot peg $27 free grips,fender braket a huge $94 . I think that if people that own ds's that have broke there shocks, they might have the same problem . maybe all ds's dont have this problem ,i might have jumped the gun there.and im sorry ,but the three ive seen here ,seem to me ,to be off . I race with a guy,next weekend and im going to try and hook up my jig to his ds's front right and see what i get. ill let you know . man im still jealous off that cover...congrats (golf clap)
