Raptor720,I would agree with you(he probably did not know what he was doing)I asked him what the bore was and he didn't have a clue. He had a custom aluminum intake(2 into 1) which looked way to small and put the single carb way to far back. The tires he was running looked to be about 20" tall on 8" wheels, the straight cut paddles were a ultra light ground down tire. The owner was probably 250lbs + but he was having his son (75lbs) do most of the drag races, since his son seemed to be doing better then him. He(Robby)will be at Glamis over Thanksgiving(can't miss his Raptor, looks like rapdaddy without the paint), maybe you can point him in the right direction. Robby is from Gardnerville, Nevada (not really that close to Vegas) He might not know his Raptor was stroked, he seemed pretty honest about not really knowing what they had done to the internals of his motor. I am sure if he gets the right carb set-up he would be a good race against me.

Jeff, I didn't even know a 784 was an option for a raptor, any talk of the $ involved in his project? - do you think the 784 would have taken the pami 760 that Knutz has?

Majorecho,I didn't know it was an option either,Untill I raced one and the kid told me it was a 784cc.I didn't beleive him at first so I went over to there camp, and sure enough it was!I didnt ask how much but money it cost, but he had some serious cash dumped into his machine. Not sure how Knutz 760 would stand up? but probaly not with a 75lb rider, even up the rider weight and the race could be close.

Jeff,

From what I am told, it was a 686 with a single carb. No stroke and no 105mm bore.

Raptor720,You maybe right, just was going by what he told me.Dont understand how some one can misplace 100cc's.He said the motor was supposed to put out 80 hp.I would tend to believe you more then him.
