Dial-a-jet?

Anyone used this jetting system on their DS's? Looks pretty good if you are riding in a lot of different elevations and conditions.Opinions?

Yes I have on a early eighties set up of a top gas drag bike.

I see no advantage at all for this on any type of recreational vehicle.
It worked very well at the time to gain top performance at every pass in all the different enviroments.
Now by the mid to late eighties I changed to lectron carbs and had no use for the dial-a-jet.

Like 3tv says, performance drop offs aren't that graet if noticeable at all for what your talking about.

Dial-a-jet wasn't that easy to master either

3TV, do you run an aftermarket exhaust/filter seup on your DS? I guess I should have mentioned that in my post above.I am planning on adding an aftermarket air filter/pipe and was just curious about the dial-a-jet versus channging the main jets.
