I am pretty sure they take off 2 ply's. Joe at Fullerton Sandtire told me this.

Yes the slide great, thats one of the good things about them.

They look like they would probably work fairly well, but I have to say that those are the butt-ugliest looking set of paddles I have ever seen.

Dunejammer, I have to agree with you and the others on the looks of those tires.

Are there some good riding spots around ogden. I just sent you an email asking the same question. I am coming down to visit a freind and also to do some shopping for a new Baja DS and was looking to do a little riding. My buddy is fairly new to the area and did not know of any good riding spots.

If you could email me with any places I would appreciate it.

I have seen and raced a guy on a DS w/ those tires. I forget his name on the connection, but he is from Ogden Ut. I'm not here to bash on any quad, but I did beat him pretty handily up Sand Mtn at LS Utah. Both quads were modded equally. I was running my stock Dunlops. I'm still not convinced you MUST have paddles.
I'm on the right w/ no paddles and not geared for the hill. I don't hillshoot these guys do. http://community.webshots.com/photo/...5763zSBgVnAJNu

I think they look mean! But it took me a while to get used to the look. Here's another PICTURE.

I used to use the Skat Trak Edges and these hook up much better and are faster since they are a taller tire. I'd say they turn about equal.I think you get the best of both worlds, great hook up in a straight line and they are easy to turn/slide with.
