Oh shoot, you are right, he did a few starts trying to get the feel for the bike and then he did start to run a short drag but when he missed 2nd I told him if that was the best he could do to ride his own. No other short drag took place unless you want to count when I was running alone to see what gear I was passing the cone at.

knut'z
my friend,I got a chance to ride the new baja ,debeaded the rear tires twice!!! inflated them to 6psi and they still (imo) handled like crud. they roll over . and why would a baja be faster than a standard ds ? the tires ?? I dont think so. The rev box ?? could not even notice the diff.. I think the baja gained weight to right? I wanted to race it aginst my toy's but there both gettin motor work ..he he ... I Did think it (front end wise ) handled better then the old ds....

I specified the Baja because of the rev box. The standard DS is just as fast, but harder to race without hitting the rev limiter.
At some point you have to think, "When one type of bike has more problems under one rider than any other rider has ever had with it, is it the bike or the rider that is the cause?". I talk with dozens of different DS riders every day, and no one has ever had the problems that Biggy has had.
