Hey Knutz how much does your 703 kit run, and what kind of gains can I expect? What is the Compression ratio and do I have to run race gas? What size Carb does it come with and does it have a new CDI? I also remember hearing somewhere that there are a few options for this kit, what are they?

Thanx

kodiak, go to my website under ds650 power kits, it lists Knutz' team pami kits. full parts list, prices and hp ratings. as far as race gas is concerned, the piston is 12:1 which will require higher octane than 92 but not full race gas. Knutz will have the recommendation for that.

Thanx for the help, glamisds650. Now I have a few more questions.

1.How relaible is the 703 kit?
2.What does Lightening of the crank, balance shaft, Flywheel, and starter gears do?
3.How much weight do these mods save?
4.Will it make my machine less relaible or easier to stall?
5.Does the 703 kit include head porting?
6.What is that Racing Cylinder Head? (Under additional parts)
7.How would the 703 kit do with the Sport or Race Cams?
8.Whats the CTS battle Shifter? (Under additional parts)
9.Whats the deal with the close ratio tranny?
10.Which Pipe would be better? BigGun Full System or HMF Slip-On.

Thanx for any help

I'd be happy to answer all of your questions. It would be easiest if you could call me at (702)236-6852. 8:00A.M.-7:00P.M.;Pacific time,Mon-Fri.

You have lots of questions, and I'm not a great typist. I have answered all of these questions in the forum befor, and will again if I need to, but please help me save my fingers. LOL

Here are the short answers;
1. Very
2-3. takes almost 2.5 lbs. out of these parts
4. just as reliable, easier to stall at idle
5. No
6. an extreme head that's got every trick thing that can be done, already done.
7. Great
8. not advised for a quad to be used in dirt or sand, pavement only
9. it's a close ratio, gears are taller, but closer together in ratio
10. Big Gun

That is a great combination, I've done several motors like that. You should like it. I talk to you in the spring then. Thanks for checking us out.
