I haven't tore into the Baja yet(still waiting on parts)
I sold my 5th wheel toybox and bought a motorhome,I dont think I can get the motorhome into Pismo.A friend bought my 5th wheel and plans to go to Pismo over the holidays(not sure on the dates though)
My plans are still up in the air for now(depends on work)
I drive by Prairie city every day,its funny I have not ridden there in a year.

I haven't been to Pismo too many times, but both times I went, the factor was more high tide vs. low tide than anything. Also the condition of the 'ramps' was seemingly more important than the water crossing. My first trip was in July, the second in November, the water crossing seemed about the same. As far as Motorhomes and RVs on the beach, I don't see why you couldn't take yours out there Jeff, over T-day weekend, there had to be a couple of hundred of them out there. I must note, that for T-Day, the ramps had been groomed and were in excellent shape, whereas in July, one of the ramps would be impassable for a 4x2 while the other was OK in a 4x2.

well we are still planning on going to glamis. Sierraclubsucks, we mostly ride sand, we go to sand mtn, oregon dunes, pismo, and glamis. We are leaving tomorrow to go to glamis unless our friend totally backs out otherwise we are thinking of going to sand mountain even though it will be butt cold there. Sean

Looks like rain is in the forecast this weekend! So Sand Mtn. is out (would have to chain up over 2 passes)
A couple of guy’s I work with are heading to Pismo Saturday (Dale & Nick)
Not sure now what I will do, If I new for sure I could get a motor home & trailer into Pismo I might go.
BlackHawk, you saw that many motor homes out there? Last spring I saw only a few but really wasn't paying that much attention.
I got stuck with a 37’ 5th wheel last springs, but had no problems after dropping the air in the tires to 15lbs each on my 4x4

Jeff, me and some of my friends should be out there barring any weird weather changes. Looks like it should be a wet 4 days. Oh well.

BigJon,If I can find a way to make it I will, wet sand will make it nice(wont get stuck as easy)If you see my truck and 5th wheel it will be Nick(he has my old truck and 5th wheel)And I think you met Dale at Sand Mtn.(Kid with the 250KTM & warrior)he will be there with Nick.
What day are you going to get there?I plan on going somewhere this Friday ,but sure would like some heads up on the conditions there before I take off.
