Hydraulic Clutch
#1
Hello, I want to give you peaple some of my opinion on this matter. I have been able to compare Billitanium and Magura clutches.
1)They are both real nice compared to the stock clutch
2)The Bullitanium is about $200 more than the Magura
3)The only advantage that the Bullitanium has over the Magura is the stainless steel line from the lever to the slave. (my opinion)
4)The clutch pull was about the same on both bikes. (Identical Clutches)
5)The Magura is not available yet for the DS, but will be in a short while.
6)The Billitanium is available right now.
I am not a salesman for either clutch. I do not know what RWR is working on. I do know from past post that Knuts is working on a Hydrolic clutch. I am just telling you all what I have tested.
I am not trying to step on anyones toes. Please do not flame me for my opinion.
Thank You
James

I must apoligize for not telling what I had tested these on.
1)TRX400ex Both 400's had HD springs in them. The pull was about the same as stock. But I had better control over the clutch (it seemed).
2)Yamaha WR400 dirt bike. The two bikes were set up the same, different clutches. The pull was nice. I do not know what the stock pull was on these bike's to compare it to.
On the DS, I am sure that with the HD springs the pull will be reduced. I have not been able to compare the two. I will (as soon as I get my motors back) test both of them.(Billitanium, and Magura) I have two DS's that are getting Team Pami's HD springs in them. I will buy one of each and do a honest evaluation for the group.
