Well, it looks like I'll be dumping the Alba race pipe and checking out other options. The Alba made good power, but after this last time out, the silvery coating started peeling off of the head pipes (looks bad), also the install/uninstall was a real HOOT! I guess nothing fits like factory parts.
So, anyone got any suggestions? I will shy away from Big Gun, as I read that they fall apart, but I am hearing good things about HMF....do they have a website? Also, I may even consider a modded end cap, has anyone done dyno testing on any of these, and is anybody selling them?

HMF has improved their website and included a dyno chart for the DS.
They haven't put up any info on the "quiet core" which has proven very successful on our Raptor, and I have ordered one for the DS. It should be here this week, I will give a full report, of course.

I would be real interested in the HMF 'Quiet Core'...I am looking for something that will meet the Oregon dB noise level requirements of 93 dB. After being misled by another slip on Mfg., Custom X, I will be very cautious next time. All though I liked the Custom X pipe their word on making me another pipe never materialized. I noticed that the HMF spark arrestor is not Forest Service approved...how big a deal is that?

My Yosh pipe looks awsome and provided a decent power gain. Its loud though I would guess in the 104db range but where I ride thats not a problem. Installation was a breeze with all necessary parts provided. I'm happy with it
