You mentioned that Bomb quads have had some reliability problems. No one should be surprised about that, considering they are the new kids on the block so to speak. And look how fast they addressed those problems. Can you say the same for the japanese manufactures?

And look at Cannondale which is a US built quad, and how quickly they where ready to fix the probs with their machines, and really go out of their way to help people. I even heard of one case where an employee of cannondale gave his home phone number to please a customer if he had any probs. Granted they are a much smaller company than the rest, but you can see that they will go out of there way to give customers what they want.

Marky,

speaking of what Yamaha makes... include Pianos in that. We all know how much Paino technology plays an important part in the production of ATVs.

I heard the Black/Silver Raptors start with ebony piano 'keys' & the Blue Raptors start with ivory piano 'keys'.

I didn't mean to start a flame fest... it was just a joke (although not that nice). If Bombardier comes out with a new two-stroke sport quad, I promise not to make anymore Canadian jokes...

hmmm one product built by Canadians that isn't well built and reliable... can you say "Pamela Anderson"? Her boob job went south and Tommy Lee probably can vouch for the other part (another Canadian product that just can't take a beating).

I'm curious, what reliability issues have Bombardier ATV's had. I've been coming to these forums for about 3 months and not heard of any. I'm not saying that their isn't some out their, but I am curious to find out because I'm a Bombardier DS650 owner.

P.S. I'll take all the Canadian Women you have if they all look like Pamela and Shania.

i haven't experienced any reliability issues with my 2000 DS. The only problem I had was due to a bonehead dealer, and all brands seem to suffer from that issue. This thing has been bulletproof.

Knowsalot,
I too am in a customer service roll and when all i hear is complaints i get tunnel vision and tend to think that the problems are worse then they are. Fortunatly I know how to break back to reality and see things the way they really are.
I've been on this forum for a year or so know and have heard very few problems with the DS. Correct me if I'm wrong.
I am on my fourth Seadoo now and I have had 0! nada! none! zip! bupkis! problems with any of them. Most of my riding buddies also have seadoos (because they are the fastest, best handling boat out there) and they have had the same results. The service manager of my dealer has only the best things to say about Bombardier products, especially compared to the many other lines he services.
I'm not trying to start a flame fest here but I have a problem with someone airing their discust with a corporation by slamming its products. I sincerely hope you can work out your differences with bombardier but in the mean time, in all fareness, call a spade... a spade.

Happy Riding
