I met a guy at Glamis, Comp Hill, (he was from San Diego I think) between XMAS & New Years. He was sporting low profile, dual, 50w lights on his helmet. The lights were wired (quick disconnect) to his quad, a 250R, and attached to his helmet w/ Velcro. The lights really worked great and lit up where ever he was looking. The Velcro did a good job of securing the lights and the guy said they had never come
loose in the two years he had them. The cool thing is that they go with the rider so if you have several quads, all you have to do is have the wiring set up for each ride.
Anyway, he said the name of the guy making them was "Copeland" and he was selling them under the name "Copeland Navigator". I believe he's out of Washington State or Oregon. He said cost was around $200.00 for the dual light setup.
I have done an Internet search and came up empty. Has anyone heard of this guy or his lights?

Nope, but you might want to check out LeadDog Helmet lights. Same thing, only one bulb, very bright though. (can hit a reflector up to 5 miles away on a clear night) and it has a break light (red) that can also be wired in.

hey mxzx those look pretty cool. Do you or have you used one? I definitely need more light and lighs that are able to "look" before I turn or turn with my handlebars. I wonder if there would be any problem with the standard voltage regualtor.
