OD,
I'm running the 25hp jets and it'll make you heart skip a beat and try to crawl out you throat everytime it comes on, you gotta watch your p's and q's to keep the bike from going over backwards, the power is awesome. For some reason I didn't feel much of a kick with the 15hp jets and I'm a bit hesitant to try the 35hp jets until I do some head work and get some stronger valve springs in. The pami HD clutch spring hold the power very well I strongly recommend them. let me know how the install goes.
I actually like the position of Jeffs solenoids better than mine but I wanted to use the components that came in the kit and I wanted to install the bottle under the seat, the length of the steel braided hoses was the limiting factor and is why things are as the are. Could have found longer ss hoses but for some reason when I buy a kit my wife thinks thats all I need and I have to stay in budget. But it works.

DJ,
If your serious about it lets put it on the raptor, -I still don't wanna get beat

Scooby,
I don't think you'll be content until you blow yourself up
who is doing the piston and gasket for you?- what compression ratio are you looking for? keep us posted with your progress.

I have Pami valve springs, and piston (11.2:1) do you think my machine can handle the 35hp shot?
Or should I just play it safe with the 25hp shot

I also have pami clutch springs, so far so good!! The real test will be when the nitro is installed!!

I'm too careful to blow up anything. I have my EGT gauge, boost gauge, portable wide band O2 meter, HP200LX handheld PC, etc.

JE will be making the piston. It should be around 8:1, but it's hard to get it exact depending on your head volume, gasket thickness, etc. I will have four pistons and I don't need them all. There will be a part number to order more at a later date. I broke 2 piston rings on the stock cast piston running methanol and 15-18 psi of boost. Head will not stay sealed.

Gasket works does low volume custom copper gaskets. It will be 0.043". I may make a thicker one as well. Others can order them too. I'll have 4 to start with.

With my turbo and methanol, I'm running the equivalent of a ~50HP nitrous shot. I'd change the piston if you are going to push your Nitrous further.

I had to switch to a 9/9 carbon fiber/kevlar clutch with HD springs to hold the midrange surge in torque.

I am having the cylinder O-ringed and some head work. If I am happy with the results I'll pass along the shop that is doing the work.

Majorecho, Since you have this kit how did you mount the micro switch?

Thanks

correct! no interference with rear suspension and I do like to jump.
I've seen some set up's where the micro switch is triggered by the thumb throttle and others on the carb- what ever strikes your fancy.
let us know when it's up and running- 35hp??hummm..... maybe with your setup, start slow and work your way up, that way if you have any bugs in the system they rear their heads befor you grenade the engine!
