Bearman,
Cant wait to see the subframe.............................soon?
Have you noticed the extra large washer on the Baja steering stem?
Maybe you could offer some thing similar with future steering stems that would go on older models.

Jeff, I took a look at my Baja and will disassemble the stem as soon as time allows and improve upon the washer idea and definately make it adapt to the earlier stems. The insurance companies are really hastling me on the subframe, But I am confident it will work out and hopefully soon.

Bearman if you want something structurally tested send it to me, I'm sure you've seen the videos, its no problem to over jump some landings and land flat, or case some jumps on purpose. If it can survive a 70ft jump 20ft high I'll take one, make that two.

Thanks for the good info, I will build something that takes care of this problem in the near future and you can have one free when completed.
DS650stage1. You are an awesome jumper and if we lived closer I would love to see you air it out. I may take you up on that structural testing sometime, I will let you know.
