I'll agree that Pami products appear to be an excellent choice and i am very interested in the piston and cams.Plenty of excellent USER recommendations.Constant bashing of the other guys product does get a little old.PRO just wanted some information on a common problem and someone had to say i told you so.JEFF your comment i'm sure was a joke and taken that way.I'm sure if KNUTZ went back and looked at prior posts, you WILL see you have offered assistance or information on your competitors product .Regardless if it was RW,or bombardier or Whoever.Just happened this time you snubbed your nose until someone else offered assistance. Not cool.

UPDATE: I just got home from work and checked the adjustment on the crank case and it looks like it may have been adjusted too tight not allowing the clutch to fully disengauge. I backed it off a thread or two and went for a short but hard ride. It seems to be ok at this time now. I'm going for a long ride later today and that will be a better test if this was the problem. I'll update later today after the ride.

14, no man I didn't make it to the dunes this weekend. I had a funeral to attend and also the damn wind is blowwing on average of 40mph, All weekend! And that puts the "windchill factor" at 3 degree's. So I guess the "Sand Godds" pi$$ed on me this weekend. But atleast the forcast for Monday is 60 and light winds, I should be able to enjoy that behind my desk at work Anyway, Maybe next weekend.

Pro, I guess we'll just agree to disagreeThats coolI hope the adjustment that you made solved your problem. Good luck.

Biggerisbetter.

No problem biggerisbetter.

UPDATE: Seems that was the problem.......a minor clutch adjustment at the crank case. I took it out for a hard 2 hour beating through the woods trails and back roads on the long strait aways and not a single slip.

Thank you EVERYONE for your suggestions and help.

Knutz, thank you too for your suggestions. I too would like to purchace and try some of your products. Once I use a new product or name brand and like it I'm a loyal customer. Thats the reason I buy RWR things now. In the future I'm sure I'll become one of your customers also. One of the things that has been holding me back from buying from YOU is'nt the PAMI products its you and the salesman tactics you use for your product by bashing the compitetion. I know your out there to make a buck and I'm very glad you are,the bashing is a "turn off". I have NEVER seen Elliott "Eli54" from RWR in here bashing you or PAMI. Your product will sell itself now that its out. I don't even mind the occasional sales pitch, its the bashing that really needs to stop.

Yeah so far I've never seen anybody from RWR giving out free advice, like last week when Knutz reccommended ProEMTPFF try some used Raptor shocks on the front of his DS to lower it...That's when ProEMTPFF was whining about wanting to do it for free and couldn't afford even Works steelers 'cause there's a bun in the oven. I don't see where Knutz was doing anything but being a regular helpful guy on this Forum.
.....As far as ProEMTPFF, I think that's a dude with a 'tude.
Chill!

I'll be the first to admit that Knutz is VERY helpful in here and to his customers and thank him for it and RWR is ONLY helpful to thier customers and somewhat in the forum. I just ask the bashing stop.

Ohhhh and fourlix I NEVER asked for free just for CHEAP. Get your facts strait. I'm not wanting or trying to bash Knutz. He's been great other than the bashing. I feel PAMI would be better represented with OUT the bashing of other products.

RWR is more than happy to offer free advice.I've called them on the phone a couple of times. They never told me it was $1.99 a minute for advice. They also sent me a acc. pump for my 45mm carb for free w/o question. And i even bought my kit used.I don't remember anyone else doing that.I could've bought that carb anywhere. As for Fourlix and his whining comment about PRO not be able to afford even works steelers and wants to do it for free, well hell ya who wouldn't want to modify their DS for free?(take your airbox lid of for some free HP)....oops now i must be cheap too.It is probally more like he doesn't want to spend that much money on a mod when maybe a simple adjustment could do the same thing.Of course that wouldn't be as great of a mod as the Works Steelers, but on a cost basis i as well as Pro would rather spend my money on Pami cams and piston than some shocks.More power is always a benifit to me.Some shocks just isn't in my picture.Maybe try to understand what your commenting on before you comment....at least you will appear to understand what your talking about. Peace out.

<< As a Firefighter-Paramedic I do not make enough money to "fix" my shocks. Theres a baby on the way to add, so I'll be lucky if I can even keep my DS. So with that said anyone have any ideas on a cheap and simple way to lower a DS? >>

.....PorEMT, You were right, you only asked for cheap, not free. But you are still whining.
.....Crashfire, maybe you should understand that lowering a quad is a matter of suspension, and Knutz was the only person to come up with an idea to do it cheap, by using discarded Raptor shocks. PorEMT turns around and trashes him. Ah,, gee,,, thanks,,,And since when does RWR contribute to this forum? Their customer service may be exemplary, but they sure don't give us any freebies on here, Knutz does. Knutz believes in his products and lets us know why. I do not consider that "bashing".
.....I am still impressed with the power of the DS, especially when it is broadened with a better pipe and a CDI. I was as impressed with the power on my first ride as I was very unimpressed with the suspension. For where we ride a DS has plenty of power, but totally inadequate suspension. I know what power is, I don't think you Florida guys know what suspension is.
