1. Biggerisbetter, I would like to get one of your end caps and give it a go. How should I go about contacting you and do you need my original endcap or are you fabricating them from raw materials?

2. ProEMTPFF, How many RPMs Does the Ron Wood CDI allow. How many would be considered safe (to engine) at extended ride times.

Thanks
SD.

I used to live in the Cedar Falls area and my mother still does so I'll probably come up to waterloo often. There are very few good riding areas around DM. There are some about an hour south. Maybe I'll catch you out there sometime.

SoonerDuner,

The Ron Wood Racing CDI and the Team Pami CDI are both unlimited. A lot of guys are running them with no tach, and just going by seat of the pants with no apparent problems. I personally plan to get a Tach before I change my CDI so that I can see how I'm operating the bike with the stock one, then I'll have a good idea how the CDI has changed performance once installed. As far as the maximum RPMs I THINK I heard something like 9000, but some of the other guys on here will have better information.

Thanks BlackHawk. I wasn't sure if there was a reason that they put the rev limiter so low on the stock DS...

Brandon-Can you give me directions on how to get to that fort dodge riding area? I might make it up there this weekend. Also can you put it on this sight since my e-mail account is on the blitz.

Let me know what you thought of it? Did you get across the blacktop to the east side at all? how many trees did you hit or just abought hit. Did you have to back down any hills? Hope you had fun and did not break any thing.

I didn't go up there this weekend. I rode with some local guys. I've got to get my machine registered and head to Bluffs Creek. Hopefully I can get that done this week. Tehe last owner didn't register it last year some I have to go through a bunch of loops. I heard bluffs creak is pretty nice. The DS was running great and I got it extremely dirty.
