i know its a dumb ? .. but i want to make sure before i order them ... im getting rims and tires so the only thing that has to match up is the9 right ? instead of 20/10/9,s can i go with 22/12/9,s??

If your getting RIMS and TIRES the size of the rim can be anything you want, 8,9,or,10
It goes like this:
1)the 22" is how tall the tire is
2)the 11" is how wide the tire is
3)the 9" is what size rim the tire will fit on
22"x11"x9"

If I were you i'd go with 22x11x10 (this is only if your getting rims too)
With the bigger rim the side wall of the tire will "roll" less in the corners.
Plus it looks cooler.

One other thing 22" tires tend to hit the heel gaurds

im getting new heal gards any way ....

22x12x9 is OK to there is plenty of room for the extra inch of width. These will fit fine[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-cool.gif[/img]

Do you ride in New Jersey at all? Last summer I rode in the sand with a few of my buddies that also have DS's and we had a blast.

i haven,t gotten over to nj yet .. i meet another guy from li that has a raptor that said he rides in nj all the time .. but he blew his trannie lol... so im waiting for him to get it back together to show me what nj has to offer in riding ... what part of jersy where u riding at ??? i here nj is just as bad as ny with cops chasing and inpounding bikes ... so i just don,t want to show up at some spot and get bumrushed buy the cops ....lol

 

The town is Toms River I was there one time. no cops in sight, but that was only one time!
One guy I rode with has a RWR stage 3 and the other guy has a pipe on his.
All together there was 6 DS's, not to shabby for New Jersey hehe

well 6 is more then long islands got .. iv only seen i think 3 maybe 4 ds out on the trails ... and that in about 9 months of riding ...lol... to bad those ds riders from jersy arent on this site... i would like to hook up with some more ds riders .. as of now i ride with my ds ,a cannidale ,2 shee,s and my girls 400ex ......how did u do against the stage 3 ??
