Someone that could change the boxes could make good money switching boxes. I bet the chip is even labeled

 

There are no labels, and no visual difference of any kind internaly. Only the programers at Nipondenso know how to do it. People have tried experimenting, and waisted several boxes doing it. There is no way into the box without destroying it. I'm not even sure the folks at Rotax know how to do it.
