You guys with the carb mount filters :

What did you do with the 1/2" clear tube, specifically I mean?
If you put a small filter on it, what kind, from where?

How do they fit, any problems with frame or seat clearance?

I put on a breather from Autozone for 3 dollars. If you have an outerware I would not put it on until you fix the clearence problem. The outerware will develope holes on the bottom and on the top. Once there are holes in it you might as well not have it on.
