Can anyone tell me if the traxter has a backup for
their electric shifter (like honda's es)?

It does and it doesn't. You have to remove the seat and use a special tool in the tool box to set the transmission in a forward gear and then you can get home or where you need to get to in that gear without farther shifting.

Big key word is "you get it home", if that doest mean anything, try pushing it home.
