Hey I was wondering if anybody has any experience with OMF wheels, I was told that they could make me wheels with a 1" inset. I was wondering if anybody knew anything about them?
I was also wondering how much it would cost for all 4 wheels with a 1" inset & Reinforcing Rings, How long they will take to ship? Could I just send in the Wheels I have now or would they make new ones from scratch? I wanted to make it a little more narrow, for the woods & I figured loosing 2" would be perfect.I also think it would be way more stable than a Raptor, The DS & Raptors seat height is almost Identical & the DS would still be about 3 or 4 inches wider & have a lower center of gravity.

Thanx for any help

I dont know if they are availible with diferent offsets or not but i just ordered a back set with inner and outter rings. They told me 3-5 working days for delivery but its been 9 now and still no rims. I thought they where a great price at only 95 a peice. My dealer wanted 185 a peice for rims with only outer rings. I wish i would have thought to ask abought a narower offset because that would be nice to be just a bit narower for the woods.

Do you have OMF's phone number?

I love my DS but I would love it even more with a little less Width, I'm planning on buying Elka shocks with dual-Rate Springs & Sag Adjustments this summer so then I can offset some of the stableness I would loose with going to a narrower track. As it is right now It just cant compete with my Cannondale in the woods, but once I hit the Ashdumps the DS is the Best Quad around. Next Winter my DS is getting a complete teardown & rebuilding, with powdercoated Chassis, new A-arms, Swing-arm, Axle, Knutz 703, & alot of other small things.

I bought my set of four rims with inner and outer rings plus 23&22" Holeshots about a year ago. Leon was really easy to work with and I can't say enough good things about him. I'd call him again if I need any rims or other products he offers. The reason you don't have your rims may be miscommunication - he may have said 5-6 days till he ships them. UPS has a very 'standard' set number of days in which a package will take to get between two points based less on distance, and more on what state your in. To/from California, all neighboring states are 2 days; I believe anything else is 5, no matter how far. Funny thing, if something shipped from Sacramento to San Diego it'll get there in one day, even though that is a lot farther than say, Laughlin to SD which would take two.

I got my rims today with iner and outer rings. They are sweet. got my new shreders mounted on them and hope to take it out tomarrow night and see how much difference there is in tires. I cant waight till i bend the fronts up good enough to justify them. Unfortanatly the budget (wife) says no new parts till they are absolutly nesasary.
