Any Quest 650 Owners Out There?
Hey guys! I've got a Quest and love it.( By the way Viking, I'm CAT500 from High Lifter.) It's an excellant machine with great power and an ausome 4-wheel drive system (Visco-Lock). Also you won't find a more stable quad out there.
twitchell, You would probably really like the Quest. The only draw-back for you, may be that it's full-time 4 wheel drive.
Just for those of you interested, i bought a Prairie 650 and raced the Quest and easily beat it by 6 quad lengths mabe more in between 200 and 250 yards. The Quest is in the shop right now getting a K&N power kit installed. We'll see if it helps any. My Quest also got a new clutch because when my dad and I were riding the other day the quad started making VERY loud pinging sounds. We were riding on flat ground (the engine was basicaly idling at around 10 MPH) and it made that noise. It continued to clang and bang until he parked it. It sounded like when the mechanic was working on the cluch last he left his socket in there! We took it to the dealer and he said that a piece of the starter drive broke off and was being tossed around in there by the clutch. I guess it tore the clutch up pretty bad, but its all being done under warranty.

Any Quest 650 Owners Out There?
I own a 2003 Quest, and I really like it so far. I have a 60" Moose plow for it now, and I do have the center console bag for it also. I bought a amber strobe light to use when I am plowing snow. It just plugs into the 12V accessory outlet. Then I will be more visible when I am plowing this winter! I still have to go up north and ride with my brother and his Grizzly 660. 650 Quest
I am in the process of rebuilding the engine on my 03' 650 Quest. Seems some of the most important parts are mad of plastic. The 32 tooth gear that drives the oil pump does not work well when 16 of the teeth are sheared off ... in the middle of a froozen lake at sun down. In the process I have replaced the connecting rod, bearing material, rings and some other minor parts. I am in for $300 +/- and needed a new set of sockets (inverted torx). Before this happened the machine seemed cold hearted to start but ran ok once up and running.
We also have a 03 Rally which has required the carb to be ripped apart and rebuilt about once a year and is completely useless out on the ice. Two wheel drive on a machine this light is not recommended
