I know a few months back, there were a bunch of ideas on how to keep plastic clean and looking new. I am picking up a 2002 DS 650 Baja, and would really like to keep it looking good. I ride in mud, sand, dirt, you name it. Someone said spray WD40 in the plastic to help get the mud off. Wouldn't that attract dust and dirt? Any ideas how to protect it better? Any types of "heavy" wax that I could put on it? Thanks all!!!

Pledge is cheap and easy.

Spray on turtle wax also is easy.

This is all well and good but scratches give the bike character and appearance.
Let people know that you ride like a madman. (That way they stay out of your way when your heading down/up trails / dunes.

So does the mop-n-glo help cover scratches too. I have another bike that has no shine at all. Its my "I fell like being stupid" bike. Will that help shine it up and cover or fill on some of those scratches.

Spend the money and purchase a fender and headlight protection kit from Clear Guard (www.clear-guard.com).
