I crashed my ds650 over the weekend and busted up the headlight, handlebars, oil canister, and front of the frame. Does anyone know where I can get a new or used headlight, for just a little cash. thanks, Matt

 

I just replaced my headlight and oil tank due to a crash. I could not find anything used for the bombardier. You probably will have to buy new or maybe look on ebay. Oil tank was $170 and the headlight was $98 brand new.

 

Once in a while a used/lighty damaged DS headlight shows up on eBay, but if you can buy a new one for $98, buy the new one. I think the used one sold for a price very close to that.

 

I got my new headlight from Parker Yamaha. I think it cost me $80 and the gulb for it was $12.50. They also run specials every once and a while. I hope you are OK.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

 

Thanks for the replies, I cracked a rib and got a few bruises, but I'm ready to get back out

 

I used Jb weld to glue those crappy plastic tabs back onto my light and it still works. Bad engineering or good engineering if thats the way they wanted it to break, $98 to replace lamps makes for a good income for someone.

 

When i broke mine i bought fog lights made a braket that was it and it looks really cool.
