Over 6 months ago Dirtwheels printed that Bomb was working on a new 400 sport 4-stroke, and also a 2-stroke racer, and it seems like they hinted about 2 cylinders....
About the utility market - that's where the money has been since '90. That's why Kawi and Suzuki have only made utility for the last decade (except the little Mojave), why Arctic Cat only makes utility, why Bomb's first was utility, and why everybody makes a lot more utilities than sports in general. It even seems like I always saw a lot more utility threewheelers than sport too back in the day...big reds, SX's, etc.

<< Ha ha! I was wondering how they got 100+mph in the flats! But How much power could they have achieved out of that motor still using the stock carb? Inquiering minds want to know.

The fact that it's stock on the outside doesn't mean it hasn't been bored to flow more air. There are ways to do it, but I don't know if they have done anything at all to the carb or not.
