That definitely sounds like a line is leaking. It could be just a pinhole leak, where nothing will come out until you try to use the brakes. BTW How do you like your Baja compared to your old scrambler? I am about to make the same change you just made. I had a 400 Sport and am currently looking to get a DS. WHat are the big differences and if any, similarities?

I love my DS650. I would never go back. It is my first manual clutch machine, and I'm pretty good at it. It's suspension is not even comparable, or the ride. It's so comfortable. I took it in some water today, over the front bumper, and it did excelent. It's been reliable so far, but I'm not too happy about this brake thing. And it didn't seem like itself today. I think it might have to do with the brakes. E-mail, or PM me, and I'll tell u more.

You have to bleed the lines to get air out, which was sucked in at the same location it was leaking, same reason for bleeding anything. Why was it leaking - damage from hitting something? How'd you fix it?
Now you're losing power, and running hot (from the other thread)- all this combined means you need a trip to the dealer...and you need a shop manual...

One hour away? I drive 45 minutes one way every day to work.
Okay, no offense Adam, but if you have to ask, then probably not. You have to have a micrometer or caliper, accurate to .001", feeler gauges, and exact instructions, to calculate the shims needed, then order the shims if the dealer doesn't have them. It would be very easy to tear up your motor with improper adjsutment. The biggest mistake one could make is not enough gap, keep that in mind when you read the manual. The tolerance must be followed, no more, no less.
