Hello, im new to this forum and am thinking of buying a DS650 from Alba. Anyone here have the Baja or even the Alba Baja please tell me how this quad is. I had a 2001 warrior but it was too slow (even after jetting, pipe, and airbox mods). I dont mind that its a little bigger than most quads because im a big guy and need a quad that is big and quick, and ive heard that it is quick. So any input would be greately appreciated. thanx

The baja is an awesome quad. I am 6'5" and 300 lbs and it pulls me with no problem. I really noticed a big difference after I installed a pipe, jetting, Ron Woods CDI, and K&N air filter. You can't go wrong with this quad.

Call Alba and get an Out The Door price. They state in their ads the price + fees. I have never called them myself but I hear their fees add up. Let us know what you find out from them, I would be interested to hear what they say.

Since you are in Corning, Call Anytime Power Sports in Sacramento and ask for Cathy.

The mods that JMAC650 has done are in line with what I have done and will run you:
Pipe - $200-$500
K&N with Jet Kit - $135
CDI - $300

Man are you going to love the DS. You will think that Warrior was made for a child after riding the DS.

preach on faster many times you will find the yellow ds or the black are just as good and less money.

Why because every one buy's them and put exhaust and cdi box new and better shock throws aeay the stock tire and adds quality tires and a little timmy boy here and there guess what you have better than baja better than alba same money

PS:actualy the daja is a few dollars more so it is proabaly your best bet.i got a little carried away there!
