Ok, Yesterday I was showing off to some friends, and hit this Jump in 4th gear. It's about 14 feet tall, and shot me up pretty high, probably about 25 feet or more off the ground. How high can I jump before bending axles, hubs, or squaring my rims?
The landing was good, and smooth, didn't feel a thing, and didn't bottom the shock either.

 

Are u for real"25feet or more off the ground" That is almost a record!Man at the X-Games for the 250cc dirt bikes they were only getting 30-35 feet.I mean come off it maby i can beleave a 250r could do that but not a DS sorry but hard to beleave!!![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-disgusted.gif[/img]

 

well, I didn't have a tape measure out there, It was just an assumption, but It was sure dang high!! And I don't know what you're talking about, Ds's can jump as good, if not better than any quad out there, and I'm sure it can get more than 25ft off the ground, and I'm sure people have.

Guys, that is totally beleivable, Up here in one of the sand pits, we have on jump that clears a 22' 8" Pine tree(measured three weeks ago) but we have a down hill landing. I have a stock Baja and I am 6'1" and about 265lbs and I launch my bike over this all of the time(pretty scary the first time though, 22' is freakin high on a quad). I have only broken my clutch lever on one hard landing. Never bent an axle or squared a rim. The DS actually flys pretty good for a heavy tank. My friend has snapped the rear hub of his axle on his '01 raptor. He should of bought a Bomb LOL.

Ok, Ok, maybe it wasn't quite 25ft. Now that I look at it, I say..... maybe twelve feet. probably 25 feet out though! Yeah, I plan on getting some Video, or some pictures. I will send some when I get them, but I becha, I am the highest flying kid on a DS around!
