Less weight = free speed for me

Well, I couldn't get away for the whole weekend, but I still made it out to lil' Sahara sunday afternoon. I met Buttfungus and a couple others. I would have liked to gotten to know more of the group, but knowing I had only a few hours of time, I tried to spend most of it riding. I'll also admit that I'm not known as one to start conversations. That's just me...
Anyway, I'm happy to say that I finally got out and raced my DS. I won the first race, but only beat about 1/2-3/4 of the quads in the others. Considering that my DS is stock, except for a slip-on and sand devils, and that my riding is far from perfect; I'd say that was pretty good. I guess being the little guy has it's advantages. Sure, a Raptor weighs alot less than my DS, but if I'm alot lighter than the other rider...it's all good!

It was later in the afternoon. I only ran a few times. My wife wasn't feeling very well, and we had stuff around the house to get done, so we left around 6 O'clock. That's the nice thing about living within 110 miles...we can still make one day, afternoon/evening trips when we don't have a whole weekend available.
