Any close up pictures of the IMS gas tank?

I need to know information about the size of the tank for clearance issues.

Along what dimensions is the tank bigger than the stock tank? What dimensions remain about the same as stock?

Does the IMS tank just use the sides of the tank to gain more volume since the tank cover is no longer used, or are they stretching the tank in all dimensions?

Does the IMS tank accept the stock gas cap?

Does the IMS tank accept the stock fuel valve without any adapter? Is the fuel valve in the same EXACT (X,Y,Z) location as OEM? The OEM fuel valve gets a little tight at the valve cover, is this clearance any better or worse for the IMS tank? Does the fuel pickup/location/depth increase/decrease the reserve flow or quantity?

Does IMS have a high flow fuel valve available for their tank?

Hooking up an aftermarket fuel valve to the stock tank required some sealant due to the tank surface not being 100% flat. Is the IMS tank surface 100% flat in the area where the fuel valve mounts?

Those the only questions you had about the IMS tank?
LOL....

Along what dimensions is the tank bigger than the stock tank?
It is bigger,in every direction,it is wider and longer & taller.Actually protrudes under the seat, causes some clearance issues with some after market carbs.

What dimensions remain about the same as stock?
Just the bolt holes

Does the IMS tank accept the stock gas cap?
No,but it looks like the same cap on the Banshee/warrior

Does the IMS tank accept the stock fuel valve without any adapter?
Yes
Is the fuel valve in the same EXACT (X,Y,Z) location as OEM?
No,it is moved forward, just slightly over the valve cover(right front)clearance would be tight for an aftermarket valve(been looking into this)

Does the fuel pickup/location/depth increase/decrease the reserve flow or quantity?
I think it is the same, not real sure.

Does IMS have a high flow fuel valve available for their tank?
Not sure, but I am looking into the Pingle and/or making a peterson valve work

Hooking up an aftermarket fuel valve to the stock tank required some sealant due to the tank surface not being 100% flat. Is the IMS tank surface 100% flat in the area where the fuel valve mounts?
The surface is flatter then the stock tank. Also there are other flat areas that another inlet probably could be placed....

What aftermarket valve did you use?

Only an Master in engineering would ask more than how much it holds.LOL

Ohhh, You didn't ask how much it holds and all the other questions Jeff answered. I went to look it up but the Bombs aren't listed on their website. Sorry I couldn't help.

You do have a sweet looking quad, I'll be at KOTH on MLK day, I look forward to seeing it run.

Thanks for the info.

One potential problem - the tank protruding under the seat. Does the tank protrude under the seat past the frame or does it stop at the frame? By the frame I mean the left/right flat-top support bar that has the OEM tank bolt holes.

I used a pingel fuel valve on the OEM tank, but I have a few issues with it - clearance with valve cover, fuel reserve flow and quantity, ease of sealing.
