There is a mx track about 30 miles from my house and they are quad friendly , But they won't let me go on it if i don't have nerf bars and a kill switch. So my question is what is the cheapest set of nerf bars around? I was thinking about the Dg steel ones, but i diden't like how they mounted under the peg. Has any one had like problems going through the trails with them?? Thanks

They may not be the least expensive out there, but I think the Graydon nerf bars are worth the extra money! they sure do look good!

I have DG alloy nerfs on my DS and HATE THEM!! They are way too big, like a friggin' patio. They are also small diameter tubing and quite weak, I have bent them on trail rides squeezing between rocks. If you want mine I will sell them real cheap. We have AC racing nerfs on my son's Raptor and they are great. They look like the Greydons but cost less.
.....ATV Action has a comparison of nerfs in their new July issue, and I don't know what the deal was, but they said very little about the AC's and gave them a low score. They were all over the Greydons, really liked them a lot. I think the AC's are the way to go, I can't figure out why ATV didn't like them, they didn't say one bad thing about them, just gave them a low score. Smells fishy to me. I think 1bearman has a set of the graydons listed under the classified section, new unused $150. He told me his nerfs should be ready around the end of July so I'm waiting to see what he comes up with.

Fourlix,
That is odd. They had a set of AC's at the local Honda dealer for my girls EX & they looked alot like the Graydons on my DS. I agree on the DG's they really blow.
