Sand tire question?

wyo, I have never had a problem with them throwing sand on me and I think they are much easier to control. I wonder if anyone has a pic on the web that shows the proper way, just so I know I am talking about the same thing.

I have GBC Dunetrackers and the strait edge goes out. And yes they do grip and I have been turned around because of the grip. Wasn't expecting it. I'm aware of it now and adjusted my rideing style to accomadate.

Well, now to sidetrack the discussion a little bit....

Since we all agree that the ribbed (for your pleasure.... turning pleasure of course) tires do turn well is it safe to say that these tires and straight paddles would be a good set-up vs V paddles???

When I got my front sand tires, they were mounted so you can't put them on wrong. My logic is that the strait edge goes outward and that puts the curved edge inward.
