Ok, I've learned how to do wheelies on my Ds, and gotta say, it's quite fun. I rev the engine in 2nd gear, and pop the clutch, and the front end goes skywards. Does this hurt anything to do wheelies for a long distance?

I can ride wheelies right through 3rd gear but I weigh in at 300 so I guess I have the leverage advantage

If u can pull them in 2nd there must be something wrong with mine. I rev it up till i hit the limter and let it go and it starts to go but then it bogs down a lot and it takes a while for it to climb back up. Could this be the valves? The guy that i bought it from said he jetted the carb so maybe he did it wrong.Any ideas?

Well, it shows no mods on your sig, and if the guy jetted it, with no mods, you could be a little rich. I couldn't pull wheelies in 2nd until I got my modded end-cap.

How do you pull wheelies through 3rd gear? All I can do is in 2nd, but I can do them for a long time, I'll get a pic to show everyone sometime

Second gear is all i use to do them. First is to low and abought time you get it up you hit the rev limiter and come back down. Second is just right. The eisiest way to get it up in second is to be rolling at abought 10-15 mph just below the power in second and then punch it as you simotaniosly pull up on the bars and shift your weight back. I have even got the hang of doing weilies wile standing up. thats a fun ride. got to be moving a bit faster though. Third, I have to use a small bump and be moving at a fair speed in the power then sometimes it comes and some times it doesent.

I've wheelied myself over, to where the quad stands straight up, and I fall off. Done that about 5 times. That's when the Kill switch helps!
