This bike is for real!! A big white trailer from wiscoson showed up with two of them.The guy would not let anybody ride it, he said it had great suspension and that the bike put out 50 + horse. The guy said they were at sand lake on friday and sat morning. Then they came to florence for the afternoon.The guy would not tell who made it but i knew just by the handle bars and thumb throttle all just like my trail blazer. He asked me how i now its a polaris? I told him i was a member of atvconnection and some people tracked the tradmark to polaris and he just smiled! Thumb up tp polaris on this quad. The guy even gave me sticker that says predator500.com "new performance atv"[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif[/img]

Ya i did the guy ran it up the face at florence acouple of times! Thats when i first seen it so i litterly ran across the parking lot to get a closer look but the guy took off after a few runs . I see a lot of stock raptors and ds 650 here but this thing is faster than a stock raptor or ds in stock form. judging by the speed he was racing up the hill! These guys were parked at the lower parking lot so i beat cheeks to find them and there is were i got to look at this thing real good!

 

It sure is a sweet ride. I want one. In addition to what I have that is, I'll not give up the DS of course.
More than likely though, these promotional quads run stronger than the actual production models, and the 50+ horses is at the crank. At least that's the way most companies seem to spread there news. Like the Z400 for example - 40+ horses - tunrs out to actually be around 30.

The webiste is way cool. I really like how you can get the bike in different purpose-built packages, including a dunes machine. No wonder its taken so long for it to come out - they spent a lot of time to do it all right. Can't wait for the shootout between it, the Raptor, and the DS!!

 

Yeah, I'm still trying to figure out which one I want to make the investment in.
This one look really cool. I have been looking at the Raptor..but I have not made up my mind yet.

THEY SAID IN THE PROMOTIONS THAT THE DS WAS 65 HP.realisticaly its 42 hp i seriously dought this thing is 50 hp stock at 500cc.i do like its dimensions
and travel but polaris is not my frist choice in preformance.and reliabilty!

 

To bad it's not a 440 instead of a 500.
