I got the Gaerne ATV boots a couple months ago and really like them. I think they run 1/2 to a full size large. They are soft and broke in quick. the soles grip super and are very tuff. Water resistance is great to about 13" deep and amazingly...they breath very well too. Dry feet are good.

I have the Alpinestar Tech 8's and don't have a complaint to speak of. When you buy them they are slightly stiff, but after a few days, I don't even realize, I'm wearing riding boots. I would also suggest a set of nerfs.

I also have some O'Neils I think they are called Matrix. They were about $40 less than the Alpinestars. The were stiff for about the first 3 rides but are fairly comfortable now. The only thing I would like differnt is a cam style buckle that could be locked into a certain size. Mine adjust a little in between rides. They have saved me MANY times as well.
