Now I know why they call them Holeshots

I shouldn't saved myself some money and bought these the first time! Straightline traction is better than I ever could've imagined. Its very tough to keep the front end on the ground in second gear. First gear can still break them loose but its actually accelerating instead of just sitting there like the Kendas, Ohtsus and Bandits did. BTW this is the XCR 6 ply 20x11x9 out back and XCT 23x7x10 up front. Trail riding is much more fun but sliding is nearly impossible with the angled **** on the sides. I thought a soft compound would only help on pavement, boy was I wrong. I don't think I could ever switch tires again

I can't really tell much of a difference yet because the trails I was on wasn't real bumpy. The steering is heavier, which is what I was told to expect with more caster. The taller tires do grip better which helps braking and i dont feel as many bumps. I wonder how they would do out at Badlands. Are you guys going anytime soon? the

I know the holeshots will do well at the badlands - better than the bandits even, because they seem to be softer rubber. I have friends that run holeshots - they love them, and they're not even the aggressive ones you have. One buddy has the holeshots for his 400EX, but still likes the Ohtsus for the Badlands sand a little better, but I think the holeshots are a better all around tire, especially when you get into the rocks.
I'm going to Badlands this coming Wednesday, the 17th - are you off work? So far I don't have anybody else going, but BigWaynster is thinking about it. I have a new video cam, and I want to take some footage for the ol' lady - she's never seen the place.

Hey I just bought some of those Holeshot XCT's and they seem to be a pretty good tire so far, but I hear you guys are saying they are a really soft compound tire? How Soft? If they wear like the Ohtsu's I am going to be highly Irrate for listenting to you guy's and buying them over the Bandit's!? I need more longevity than sticky goo traction, these tires are just to damn expensive to be replacing every couple of months. Come on fellas cheer me up a little here will ya! LOL
