DSRide,
Yea I ran them at 6 or 7 pounds...they never punctured, but I thought it was strange to see the ***** chunking off like that.
Were the wheels your culprit....bent....I used the the stock Baja wheels and had re-inforcement rings welded on the inside(only ruined one front)but it held air, also had a set of OMF re-inforced as spares(never used them)
I ran the holeshots at 8 or 9 pounds for the Terrible Town 250 in Pahrump,am I running to low?
I was warned about the Baja Mex race today....from one of sponsors saying there would be trouble there, being it is BITD's first race in Mexico...You here anything?
The jury is still out on that race, but the Vegas 200 is a better shot for me.

Jeff

I was told to run 12-15 psi in the Bandits for desert racing that was from Pure Sport and Greg Row. The 4 tires we lost were from a major crash. Three of the rims were bent not sure what kind they were but we had TimmyBoy weld rings on them. On my personal DS I also run the stock Baja wheels and have only had punctures.

Offroad races are run almost every other weekend in Baja. Estero Beach Resort were the BajaMex is being held is a great resort on the beach! They have short course racing there. Some people just will not race in Mexico. We will be there. If you hear anything else about the race please let E-mail me. I will talk to Greg Row and Wayne Matlock and see if they plan on racing.
